On the back roads of St. Jacob's Country the practices of the past change on a pace much slower than the world that lives around them. Arts and crafts of a world we would cal yesterday are passed down from generation to generation, young girls learning the art of quilt making at a young age. On the outskirts of the town of Conestoga, on a farm along the banks of the Grand River, Grace (Shantz) Frey was one of these young girls. Today she uses her skills to create the beautiful quilts of Quilted Heirlooms. Her mastery of quilt making allows a craft of "yesteryear" to create the treasures of today, and the heirlooms of tomorrow.
